Water-source heat pumps are the backbone of South Florida condo living, and they are a Floridian Air specialty. We service, repair, replace, and maintain WSHP units for condo associations, property managers, and unit owners across Broward County.
The low flow problem
The number one killer of water-source heat pumps in this area is low water flow. Scale builds inside the unit’s water coil year after year until the unit cannot reject heat, trips on high pressure, and stops cooling. Our acid flushing service circulates a professional descaler through the coil and restores the flow the unit was designed for. It has brought many “dead” units back to full cooling for a fraction of replacement cost.
